Presented at London Fashion Week’s DiscoveryLAB, Kyle Ho’s AW 2024 collection delves into men’s obsession for their image and identity. The collection explores egotism and narcissism, from an empowering force to a suffocating toxin. Each piece incorporates intricate detailing, fabric selections, and silhouette structures, symbolising and representing the uncanny beauty of self-centredness and its poisonous manifestations, ultimately leading to a process of salvaging one’s true self.
Each piece attests to the dedication and craftsmanship that go beyond the ordinary, resulting in a collection that transcends conventional boundaries and celebrates the fusion of innovation and traditional artistry.
The customisation of dress codes is exemplified through tailoring, with all suits crafted in the atelier. Defying convention, the seams remain unhemmed, inviting a deliberate unravelling process that elongates the silhouette. This technique initiates an exploration of overflow volumes, deviating from traditional tailoring. The looks are layered to perfection, maximising the impact of the concept.
